Fast Transfer for Swift Deals

Our most recent big upgrade came in March 2025 with the rollout of an enhanced TA system and user interface designed to accelerate transactions like never before. So, how can you tap into these speed benefits?

It all starts with Fast Transfer. Fast Transfer is available for opted-in domains across several extensions (including .com, .net, .org, .co, .info, and others) registered at participating registrars enrolled in our Premium Network.

Sellers who enable Fast Transfer treat it as part of their sales strategy. Once a buyer checks out, the domain moves automatically and payouts follow within an hour in most cases. It’s one of the most efficient ways to run a high-volume portfolio, and leads to a faster reinvestment cycle.

Our help center has full details of the criteria your domains need to meet in order to be part of the Fast Transfer network. Using our Fast Transfer resubmission feature can resend the required authorization emails.

To avoid payout delays, double-check your payee account and payout method is accurate and up to date before listing your domains. This simple step is the single most effective way to ensure you get paid promptly.

Standard Transfer: Automation for Smooth Sales

Our enhanced TA system includes automations designed to move Standard Transfer transactions along quickly, which we covered in depth at launch. Standard Transfer applies to domains that aren’t Fast Transfer-eligible or opted in.

While Standard Transfer does require some action on your part, our team is here to support you at every turn. From unlocking domains to providing authorization codes, we’ll help you navigate the process with ease.

A few small habits can make your transactions consistently faster:

• Keep your payee details current: As with Fast Transfer, making sure your payout details are up to date will help you get paid as soon as your sale completes. 
• Watch for domain locks: Domains under a 60-day lock registered outside of GoDaddy can mean a delay in completing Buy it Now sales, or Lease to Own cancellations. Here’s how we deal with those cases.
• Respond quickly to TA team requests: Act as soon as you can. Prompt action reduces the time between sale and completion dramatically.
